What a year it has been, no Kidding. 2020 was the year we all looked forward to, made affirmations about, and then shortly into the year, we had a global pandemic (whew!). let’s just say we all know how it’s been ever since.
If that wasn’t enough, we had a racial crisis as well (sigh). The revolution began, the black lives matter movement waxed stronger, gained momentum, the world shook, and many people became more aware.
If anything, all these have just been energy draining for me and made me just retreat into a quiet corner.
I yearned for answers, searched for meaning, looked for purpose, but in all, there was nothing found.
In 2019, I had planned that 2020 will be the year where I start going on vacations, I had even planned to attend a wedding in New York that was scheduled for August, I even planned a girls’ trip to Vegas with my girls, and then 2020 came and showed its true colors.
I still managed to squeeze in a weekend getaway with friends (I’ll share about that in another blogpost), and that trip was almost perfect.it refreshed me, I gained a new perspective on life and just recharged my energy. (There’s just something about nature). I was just able to de-stress and be present. And now I present to you this stunning goddess.
With everything happening around the world right now, I hope you’re able to find something that gives you joy and pursue it fearlessly. As for me, I’m slowly returning to blogging.
And if you were wondering, Osun is the goddess of divinity, femininity, beauty, love and fertility.
I hope you have a nice day wherever you are
Love, hugs, and Kisses,
