I often hear myself say “Everything would be easier if I had more money”, but is that true?
I need an office away from the kitchen table, but my home isn’t very spacious…
I have no time to get everything done but I can’t afford to hire a worker at this point…
If only my kids were a lot older, I wouldn’t be so stressed out…
The excuses just went on and on and on and on and never stopped, until one day, I woke up different and my mindset changed.
See, all my excuses are valid and not much has changed, except my attitude! I have become intentional with my time, daily. I’m now looking at things differently and having to do lists and checking them off has become satisfying.
I’ve come to realize that we often find excuses as to why our dreams and ideas wouldn’t work out, and we limit ourselves by waiting for things to be perfect before starting, but there’s never a perfect time to act on your ideas than now. I’ve been waiting to save up my $30,000 to invest in DF Startup so it starts at the level I want it to be, guess what; I have no savings and I’m not even close to having that amount. But I’m not waiting anymore on that perfect startup fund! It doesn’t have to be perfect, just start with the little you have, tweak things as you go, and watch it all evolve, and that’s exactly what I’m doing.
I’m not saying you should ignore your needs, as that will be very unrealistic. All I’m saying is don’t focus on it, instead concentrate on what you have at your disposal and plan for how you’ll use the resources and assets that you already have, and work towards getting to your goal.
We all have an idea of the kind of life we want to live, we are just too scared to go after what we want, but the truth is, the universe listens, all the resources are there in abundance, all you have to do is put yourself in a position to get them.
This may be working harder or smarter, going to bed later than usual, waking up earlier than normal, giving up binging on Netflix, giving up your regular weekend outings to invest in yourself and do the work…
More money will come, but you ought to derive satisfaction from the work and effort you put in otherwise, it just becomes stressful
Growth is all about Focus and Perspective. And I don’t really know if more money is truly the answer, what I’m certain of is that people never stop trying to get more money, so while you’re at it, do what makes you happy so that you can have a good quality of life!!!
I hope you have a nice day wherever you are.
Love hugs and Kisses,
